First movie focusing on Aang and the gang. :blessed:
this is the better news
In addition to the upcoming films, Avatar Studios, the animation studio founded by Avatar creators Bryan Konietzko and Michael Dante DiMartino, is also reportedly ready to work on future TV series set in the Avatar universe.

Hopefully it’s better than korra, so many dropped balls in that season.
The first season of Korea was aight. The last two were good. Korea suffered from them making it up as it went along because it was only planned to be a single season.

As long as it doesn't turn into some contrived mess like a cyberpunk version of the Sokka/Bolin Show :francis:

I wonder how/when Korra died and if they'll go into it at all since there seems to be big variation in how long Avatars live.

IIRC Avatar Kyoshi lived to her 200s because of some kind of meditation she did, but Aang only lived until his 60s due to illness. Would be kind of messed up if Korra died when she was like 30 or something, but if they did go that route then you could still have a lot of characters from her series still alive.

Nah a lot of that shyt was plot armor and ass pulls. The show kept on making her artificially weak to nerf her.

S1 - narratively was good, Amon brought a perspective of the non benders that was explored early on with Sokka in the OG.

S2 - Dark Avatar :stopitslime: lazy but had potential

S3/S4 - Red Lotus was good, but asspulls, world breaker bs, wasted the spirit world.

Could see Korra going out young on some righteous shyt. Don’t see her living super long.
