So he assaulted her the day they met ...then she went on to date him for a whole month ? :comeon:

OK but did she say no? This sounds like a crash grab. Someone is mad that he's fukking younger women.

I don't recommend reading the article because it's revolting, really one of the most sickening things I've ever read. but if you have doubts you should go ahead. this was some evil vile shyt.

edit: my bad, didn't realize this was an older post.

Sure but you read something from the 1800's or even 1960's (:mjpls:) chances are it was written by a racist a$$hole, works outlive the authors, people need to learn to separate the two.

I'm all for separating art from the artist, mainly because I understand that the guidelines for telling a good story work no matter who wrote it.

However, Gaiman not only wrote the Sandman comic, he was heavily involved in the production and casting of the show. Since Gaiman doesn't own the rights Warner is well within their rights to axe him from the production but it's probably safer to nix the whole thing from a legal standpoint.

From what I know about the business, Warner Discovery will use this as an excuse to put a pause on royalty payments--Gaiman was making big bank off of that. Sandman collected editions still sell pretty regularly and probably had a nice bump when season 1 came out.

They'll have to remake that Arthur episode he was in or drop it from the reruns like they did with Lance Armstrong.

Even Justin Roiland wasn't this depraved with his antics. :picard:

He sued McFarlane for ownership of the Spawn character Angela and won then gave her to fukking Marvel. He also helped Marvel sue for the rights to Miracleman(Now Marvelman) robbing Alan Moore of the royalties he got from writing the book. Dudes name isn't on the reprints it just says Original Author.
After reading how it went down.......McFarlane was fukking up and had it coming........hard for me to admit that considering I always viewed him as being different from the The big two.......damn

I mean the rights issue to Miracleman(a Shazam redress) was a mess and Moore didn’t have copyright anyway.

Marvel doesn’t have the rights. The original creator does.

None of this is about Gaiman’s character in relation to his assault allegations I’m just clarifying
