Yeah. I think I only got an hour of sleep, because I was scared of my pipes bursting. If I were living alone, I would've just shut the water off, and drained the lines. Regardless, next time a cold snap like this shows up and is forecasted to last a few days, I'm doing just that.

Jamaican food truck opened up at the Buzz Mill on E. Riverside. Tried a combo of jerk chicken and curly fries with some hot sauce and plantains mixed in. It was decent. Never been a huge jerk chicken fan. I did ask if they'll ever serve oxtail, and was told that they plan to after they officially launch in February. They're currently in a soft launch phase.
...The networking setup/hub of the actual bar is amazing. Lol.
Great bar. Easily one of my favs in the city.
Been living here since 2014. From what I've observed, we usually get a solid week to a month of proper wintery weather in January or Feb. shyt is so unpredictable nowdays though. The highs of the last two days have been in the 80s. I'm counting on February to be reliably cold as hell though. We'll see.
