Walkable distance to downtown, the lake, SoCo, even Zilker to some extent. It's very convenient.

ok i aint never been to the relays , hopefully this year it goes on . why it seem like all TX big cities got a river goin thru em? then again, a lot of big cities are prolly by bodies of water

Me and my wife took a trip to Austin back in September last year. Spent 3 days there and was ready to leave after a day and a half. shyt was wack

1. Hardly any black folks, I mean true, from the soul black folks, not these bourgeois, hipster negros.
2. Driving around, yeah fukk that...
3. Alot of places that we visited lacked any true culture, just another soulless city scape full of pubs and dives with hit or miss foods. Basically no good BBQ, Italian, or Mexican spots.....There's tex-mex tho.

4. This place is Swirl Central, damn near 90% of the black people we saw were swirlers. We were the only black couple everywhere we went to. shyt was wild. I'd never experience this shyt before..at least not to this extent OD Pawging out that bytch.. Pawgers and swirlers shootin us the

Came real close to decimating some nikka jaw because he was flexin up behind that white p*ssy. Apparently he left his pawg unintended and she was close by me perusing through clothes and shyt. She simply made light convo because we were n the same section, but this nikka came outta nowhere with the cape being extra defensive and cuffing his girl and walking behind her trying to block herbooty from being seen. nikka looks back at me mean-mugging like

My girl came up from behind laughing like " I cant take you nowhere" only to have her own lil episode with some brehette because she was askin a white dude what's the best Pizza place. These black folks get territorial about their cacs lol.


I saw the big river that everybody was in , the watering hole or whatever the fukk. It looked cool or whatever but overall my experience was some mid IMHO.

City wasn't meant for this many people which is how we got here. I live out of the city limits but work is still close to campus so I have to deal with this traffic. One day i'm just going to move away from Austin.

The only black-blacks we came across was these three thots. I was lookin around and saw them lookin at me and one waved at me on some slick flirty shyt. I aint pay it no mind but they still came over crowding our space trying to thirst trap me IRL.

Me and my girl were at one of these rooftop swimming pool / lounge spots just minding our business and they came over talmbout "excuse us we just wanted to take pictures right quick". They was literally waving all that ass in my face and acting oblivious. Me and my girl just laughed it off and kept it pushing and balling out ordering drinks and shyt. I played that shyt cool but on the insides I was like .

Then I noticed some zombie looking Indian dude posted up in the cabana behind us just recording these chicks asses with the flash on and everything. and he was doing the creepy stare without blinking shyt. That's when the chick's scattered back to where they came from. Indian dude kept following them, still keeping the camera on the girls, til I confronted him about it. I actually saved dude from a potential ass beating because them chicks were with a mob of people.

While I was there I could see the Indeed.com building and shyt. Me and wifey were just tossing'em back til we got bored and hit the streets looking for some good food spots.

We came to Austin with $1500 just to blow on having a good time but couldnt find shyt worth gettin into to because either places were at limited capacity with limited menus or they closed early and shyt, alot of attractions were closed too. Most places we went, people were just drinking beer and eating bullshyt smothered in cheese. We did drive around for a bit lookin at residential areas, didnt really see much when we did. I cant forsee me giving up DFW life for Austin. If anything I'd go Houston depending on what their tech market is like. I work in IT.

See...if I moved anywhere else in Texas it would be Houston. Not sure about DFW because my experience of Dallas is that it is soulless IMO. Then again you find those parts in Austin but if you are into the active lifestyle you'd enjoy it.

I'm pretty much remote at this point. Pre pandemic I was working in the heart of downtown. My GF is in job transition after June so it may be a good time to explore our locality options.
