That's pretty much what Gargano did in NXT but they did have Theory being the dumb jock in The Way.
The Way was such a terrible name for a stable
Theory is dead nice. Looks, size, in ring and with a mic. He’s the total package
He only catches hate because people see him as Vince McMahon’s shoe horned choice, and wrestling fans typically hate guys that are groomed and primed for top spots. We like the feeling of watching people make their way to the top organically. When it’s clearly prepped, it sticks out like a sore thumb. He’s basically the wrestling version of an industry plant.
But that still doesn’t take away from how polished he is at his age. If he was an AEW guy, he’d literally have Stans all across this board.. but he’s a Vince project so naturally he’s the worst wrestler of all time

Not sure why they went away from the "All Day" presentation he had going during the height of the pandemic.

Lumas has a SCSA vibe to him. Sly Stallone in Cobra type vibe. If he can find balance between his characters over the top shyt he could have a great run. He's another one who's under-rated
