I'll admit New Orleans reached on Rivers at #10 but y'all realize he's only got 5 and a half preseason games under his belt? Only reason why people are watching this dude so hard is because he is the son of Doc. He wont be as good as he was in college but there is potential. Give him time brehs.

the same reason why Rivers got drafted high is exactly why this thread was made. Rivers has star potential and is a well known/popular player who's the son of one of the Best coaches in the game. He'll sell tickets and he's not that bad of a player.

I agree Jeremy Lambs is better all around, but whens the last time you saw a thread made about him?

People are interested in Rivers whether his succeeds or fails....I actually think they're more interested in seeing him fail, but he's got a lot of fans too. And he's a whole lot more exciting than Kendall Marshall.

Rivers showed 0 ability to be a PG in college.. dude always has his head down and is a terrible passer.. all he can do is drive into the paint and flop. his shot mechanics are all fukked up too.

and if they wanted a PG kendall marshall was still available. At least he has ELITE passing ability. Just a total fail by the hornets.

Isn't Rivers a SG tho? Correct me if im wrong.
