I can remember many an argument regarding Austin Rivers here around draft time. I wasn't sold on him then. I don't know if he's being put in a position to succeed now, but man, I'm just not seeing it.

Still can't understand why they took Austin in the lottery and signed Gordon back. Wasn't a very good draft, though. So, I guess they just thought Austin was the absolute best player they could get at 10.

Rivers showed 0 ability to be a PG in college.. dude always has his head down and is a terrible passer.. all he can do is drive into the paint and flop. his shot mechanics are all fukked up too.
and if they wanted a PG kendall marshall was still available. At least he has ELITE passing ability. Just a total fail by the hornets.
