Austin Reaves over his last ten games: 27/5/6 on 53/38/96 shooting, why isn’t he the front runner for M.I.P of the year?

Cade quadrupled the pistons win total .. the second offensive option is Malik Beasley

Coming into the season there was debate if he was even top 50 player .

His play switched the narrative from guys like Scottie Barnes and Lauri Markanen being better to him being an All NBA caliber player .

Draft status from 4 years ago means nothing

Not true. He signed the max. He could have gotten more from another team in restricted free agency but there was no point cause the lakers would have matched anyways. Rob let teams know that if they wanted to play dirty, it was gonna be bad for them
People really gonna be scared of this dude? :mjlol:

MIP is basically the MVP Lite Award now for the most popular players on teams outside of the top 4 in the conference.

Only way someone that isn't somewhat known wins it is if they go ballistic like Lauri did his first season in UTAH

Top 3 draft picks like Cade, Ja, Oladipo, Ingram etc winning it in recent years has actually completely devalued this award. It should be something strictly reserved for guys like Reaves and Powell who were 2nd round picks or undrafted instead of people who were always projected to be great.
