Austin Reaves over his last ten games: 27/5/6 on 53/38/96 shooting, why isn’t he the front runner for M.I.P of the year?

Sketchers Powell’s case>>>>>>Reaves

Nobody thought nikkax would’ve been calling Norm an all star snub this year

Wherever nikkas need to be told on
Not true. He signed the max. He could have gotten more from another team in restricted free agency but there was no point cause the lakers would have matched anyways. Rob let teams know that if they wanted to play dirty, it was gonna be bad for them
What’s that mean that it was gonna be bad for them? :patrice:

Austin a beast. Always been nice but I knew he arrived in that Pacer game that was supposed to be Luka's debut. Teams are gonna have such a hard time trying to contain him with 3rd option attention come playoff time.

He was nice at OU. I didnt expect him to be this good. I just knew he belonged in the league.

Most Improved is the award that makes the least amount of sense to me. Like Cade Cunningham being the frontrunner this year…isn’t he on his natural trajectory as a #1 pick? When Ja won it a couple of years ago, he was on his trajectory as a #2 overall pick. I remember when Coby White finished second last year because his PPG jumped from 10 to 19ppg, but he actually averaged 15ppg in his second season. He simply didn’t have as much opportunity after that because the Bulls signed Derozan. Once players got traded, the opportunities came. SGA’s dad was on Gil’s Arena the other day and he mentioned his son averaged 10ppg as a rookie, then he got traded and averaged 19ppg. He said his son didn’t improve like that in just over 3 months. He said he’s always been that guy, but just had an opportunity to play more in OKC.

Now players like Giannis and Jimmy Butler, they weren’t drafted high, but they showed improvement year after year, and they won it in their breakout seasons.

They should move him this summer, but the Lakers know nothing about trading a player when they are most valuable.
