We not talking about one man, we talking about a team united and sitting in protest. Game cant be played if the clippers dont show up, the league would do everything in their power to make that game happen if the clippers took a stand. They'd reschedule it way before before they made them forfeit. A forfeit would still be no game. Can the league bring that to all those people they have to pay? Like I said the league would not take the shyt storm that they would get from giving the clippers a auto L for refusing to deal with racism. It would be a bigger black eye for the league than the tape that started it all. We talking the same league that drops the hammer for minor player infractions in a 12 hour time frame but you have to investigate a owner on tape slandering minorities. Its the leagues job to come down on this hard but why would they be in a rush to if the clippers are prepared to hit the court and still make the league money? not necessarily. prejudice and discrimination is a human trait, i agree. but instituting it in a systemic way is something that has been exclusively vicious in the western world. yes, caste systems exist, and bigotry can be found in all nations. but the white supremacy that currently props up western society is the single biggest obstacle to peace on this planet, and i don't think that it will end until there is an uprising initiated by non-whites, which will obviously result in extreme bloodshed.
i would add that even the prejudice that we witness in south america, in asia, and even in africa is a result of this belief that white is right, that european standards are superior to all else. which is why you look at india, brazil, and other nations where people are oppressed for not conforming to this racist idea that all manners of being - intelligence, beauty, spirituality, etc. - are defined by white people.
