This dude really doesn't want black people at his games? Then black people should not go to his games, period. Speak with your pocket books. NBA really flubbed this with their response thus far.

It's tough to put yourself in the mindframe of a pro-level basketball player, but I think at the end of the day I would probably play, because I had worked my entire life to try to win an NBA championship and I finally have the chance to do it. the game, the playoffs, the team shouldn't be about donald sterling because he didn't work for this like the players did, he just bought a basketball team. It would be ideal if we could get him fired and win the championship at the same time.

WRONG.

Them not playing stands out WAY longer.

People forget IF they keep playing. Cause then its like nothing happened.
Totally disagree. If Miami, Brooklyn, OKC, Dallas, Houston, etc. plays, the only discussion concerning them will be about basketball.

Every single time LAC takes the court, this issue is going to be discussed. People are going to ask if they should be playing or not and also what the NBA is going to do to Sterling. If they're out of the picture, the topic doesn't need to be talked about as much.

I can't respect anyone calling for the players to give up their season just 'cause it's 'a good opportunity to protest and have the upper hand.' Y'all seen too many Hollywood taking-the-high-road-and-be-moral-victors movies. Let these guys play ball and have Sterling dealt with after the series. Taking a stand here now won't lessen racism one bit.

Besides..couldn't stand hearing CP3 apologists claim he doesn't have a ring only 'cause he did 'the right thing' the year they would've won it. Nah..:rudy:

You all miss the point AGAIN.

When has a black player ever been given the privilege of allegedly saying a homophobic slur? Or allegedly doing anything?

Y'all are seriously not able to see the inequality in how quickly and swiftly the NBA/ESPN/Media deals in disciplining (black) players for even seemingly marginalizing comments and how slow they are moving on dealing with Sterling?

Like, that's what y'all are seriously saying. Put it in quotes for everyone on this board to read and quote that that's how you feel. You don't see the inequality, correct?

HRC, the Human Rights Campaign, is tapping into the power of social media to demand an apology from basketball star Kobe Bryant, who is under fire for allegedly making a homophobic slur during last night’s Lakers game.
