whether it's real or not is irrelevant, what's important is that the exact tactics in this letter have been and still are being used to this very day to create division amongst Black people.
Yes it is relevant. Playing loose with facts undermines your credibility as an individual and the content of what you're saying. If you want to say that the Willie Lynch letter described truth, that's fine, but those facts exists anyway and can be discerned by studying history.

Man, I was saying the same stuff you were saying yesterday.

But today, after hearing that 2nd tape and thinking about it more, no fukk playing for dude.
I understand people being upset. He went full ham with his racism but i just think we need to be bigger then that cause his circle of friends probably controls a lot things we do in life. If you found out your employer was friends with him would you quit your job. Nobody would be working right now. Small percentage of rich people control most everything in our life but we cqnt give up everything in our lifes and punish ourselves.

The only reason traditional employees were brought up was because of this post right here.

Implying that people on here are keyboard activists. Not realizing there are hundreds of normal people around the country quitting their jobs everyday for some form of discrimination.

:snoop: How to Make A Slave is a forgery, and Willie Lynch is not a real person. Who still doesn't know that?

Well somebody wrote it, and I would not be surprised if certain people implemented the teachings in it.

"Religious" people have been using the teachings in their holy books for thousands of years now. We don't need to believe in the writers, and their God(s) to see how it affects humans today .
So even though we may see "How to Make a Slave" as a forgery, we cannot ignore all the truths in it, we also cannot ignore the realities of those methods being used today.

Edit: you expanded your thoughts. Cool

They aren't quitting the same "job" though. They probably don't have contracts, for starters.

We can't attribute a black man living his dream and then ascending to the top and becoming the first black majority owner as to "Being a slave owner"

I was talking about this black vs black mentality, of nikkas shytting on Jordan Or Kobe, when you have Adolf Hitler right before your eyes as a target... But they put their focus on one of their own...

Some of yall nikkas truly lost. I'm gonna step back, getting way too worked up.

I love all yall nikkas. I'm gonna pray for some of ya.
:snoop: Oh boy...

c00ns getting scared more than cacs getting angry or it's about equal.

Not an easy call on one hand whether I play or not is not going to make this guy change his views and his views haven't harmed me in any capacity so why would I harm my goals and aspirations and make Clippers fans suffer...if anything the whole NBA should sit out until action is taken if thats the case ...its so easy for other fans to ask Clipper fans to take away their personal enjoyment but ask yourself if it was your favorite team and be honest with yourself...you think I would want the Giants to boycott an NFC title game if my owner is racist and kills puppies hell fukking no!

On the other hand Sterling has harmed others by discriminating against those trying to rent his apartments, its dangerous to have men like this in power and if I sat out and so did the rest of the team and sacrificed one game it would get the league to act much more quickly on removing his ownership, which is not going to be an easy task unless there are some legal loopholes I do not know about in the way the league is structured

In any other property matter you really just can't take somebodies property based on opinions no matter how bad and wrong they are because theoretically no laws have been broken

It's better if the team continues to play AND win because that keeps them in the public eye and the issue at the forefront of everybody's minds. If they sit out a game and/or get bounced this round, people are not going to talk about this as much. It'll get brushed to the side a bit as the rest of the postseason continues.

The more they're on TV, the longer they play, the more this snowballs and public pressure builds.

You have no idea what the word allegedly means.
I know exactly what alleged means and Sterling's lawyer/reps have already said it's him on tape. They said it yesterday. Can you find a good reason why the word "alleged" is still being thrown around other than to protect his reputation?

Notice how you ignored the rest of my post though. If this was a black player on tape, talking about Jews, the word "alleged" would never even be mentioned. Punishment would have been dealt down right then and there, and the NBA would be quick to disassociate themselves. Jews/Gays/etc. wouldn't even need time to plan a protest/boycott because the NBA would have already dealt with it.

Black people are lucky to get an NBA response damn near a day later while the NBA won't even admit that the comments were stated.

AGAIN, do you not see the inequality here, as to how the NBA handles situations? Answer my question or stop quoting me with all these damn excuses and re-directions.

Of course Dubs owner would be the first owner to speak on this shyt.

He's Jewish too so I don't know if I should expect a stronger statement than this but at least he spoke out against it. Other owners on hush mode.
