Cliffs:

- Making the Band was the only reality show that never got the runs, so they have no way of making residuals off of that
- If they get their masters there's no way they can slander Diddy or anyone associated; namely they can't be a part of a documentary that highlights Diddy snake behavior, as well as how the industry helped him in doing so
- The music industry has changed so much that it's next to impossible for them to make anything off of their respective catalogs, after Diddy made close to 50 million off of them
- She specifically highlights how she never made any money for a six or so year stretch while working

There's more but those are the highlights of the interview.

Back when they came out she did look good. Her and D Woods were definitely the two best looking ones. I still think Diddy fukked Aubrey lol.
He fukked Sara who was married and had her husband all up under her on the 1st Making the Band so he definitely fukked Aubrey. shyt he even slutted out his choreographer.

Folks don't realize that most of /if not ALL of their favorite artists are slaves to execs' rhyme books and they not getting paid like we think.. That includes all of your Goats as long as they're tied to a record contract :comeon:

What if you write and produce your own ish?

If someone pours 200k into you but pockets 25 million off you and you only touching 400k of that, that doesn't seem unfair?

You may write and produce your own pieces but you do not own the infrastructure or global contacts and contracts to really push your project (if it is viable). There isn't any money in peforming anyway.

As I have said numerous times on the board, the money is in ownership and rights to distribute the music how you see fit.

The music industry is scandalous with their contracts.

you know whats funny to me

these artists know they should be paid but...never acknowledge the money spent on

videos
clothes
producers
writers
the advances that they take but if you don't sell you cant pay back
flights
concerts booked
promo spots

why is that :lupe:
Because even after all of that money is recouped, the leftovers disproportionately went to people like Diddy.

And the video is about how Diddy is 'giving back' by finally giving them an equitable split to their own creations, knowing that streaming royalities are mediocre AF for current music, let alone music from 20 years ago, and he is doing it only if they sign an NDA saying they can't talk about how he screwed them all over in the past.

No offense, but we're having a convo about how they were clearly done wrong and you are pulling up with the whataboutisms that aren't related to the video.

On another note, fukk Diddy for how he moves.
