Thinking of switching from Charter, theyre charging me $120 for TV (movie channels for free) and 3Mbps internet..SCUST

Only provider I'd switch to would be ATT Uverse due to no contract requirement..their package is about 80-90 ..anyone have Uverse, thoughts?

Net speeds aren't consistent compared to Comcast.

I had it while living at my moms, and their 12MB package hardly ever hit that. Now it could have been the modem/router that they rented out to us. But I know with wireless it was never streaming much in HD. If you go with them, it would probably be wise to do some research and cop your own modem/router, because the wireless I experienced with them was bullshyt all the time.

Depends on how new the area you stay in and the wiring in your house. I love the navigational menu with uverse. Everything is so smooth and sleek

The only problem is that it's not for multi-tv homes. You only get 4 streams for television for every account. If you like to DVR multiple shyt or have other tvs needing a feed at the same time, some tvs will be blocked out if your shyt is in full use.

I have the 2nd highest speed u could get, forgot exactly what it was called.. but shyt all i use the internet for is my laptop and xbox live and i havent had any problems.. i also heard it was trash so i was skeptical at first

AND if only one thing is being DVR'd. You got multiple things recording at the same time, one of them TVs not gonna be watchable, unless you get the recordings down to one.

Yeah you can hook up I think up to 8 tvs but only 4 at a particular time can watch separate shows. If all 4 tvs are used you have to watch something recorded. if you only have 3 at the time you're good to go.

their customer service is horrible, these mothafukkas overdrew my bank account 2 times, the 1st time i had cancled the auto pay and they still did the shyt, the 2nd time i was only paying half and they took the full bill out. i woulda canceled that bytch if not for the fact that i was persistant as fukk with my complaints. i got 2 monts for free out they ass lol. they also forgot to activate my internet when i 1st got it installed (sent a fukkin tech to check the issue when they coulda seen that shyt on their computers). other than that their shyt is on point. you get the most space for DVR, damn near all their channels are in 1080p (comcast channels aint as crispy as uverse).

Another thing, say everyone wants to watch the same thing, you can go ham and everyone can watch that same exact channel. 4 TVs on one channel only takes up one single stream.
