IIRC from season 1 - 2 mostly Earn was proactive in stepping outside of his routines and fukking himself up while Paperboi was reactive to his usual routines getting fukked up beyond his control. Ex: Earn tryna scam gift cards with Tracy only to end up getting abandon & embarassed. Al getting his whole day wasted just off going to the barbershop
But from season 3 - 4 that's switched. Ex: Earn just tryna go to the mall but ending up in purgatory, Al going on a weird scavenger hunt that ends him seeing a potential image of his death.
I know in the last two eps of season 2 Al was reacting to Earn's proactive nature at the college show which resulted in an almost permanent split so I wonder if the inverse of that's gonna happen later.

This was probably the best episode of both s3 and s4 so far. I loved it. Reminded me of an early episode from s1. Even the ridiculousness of D'Angelo.

I was cracking up when I saw that in true Atlanta fashion, it was a misdirect.

I feel like there is absolutely NO buzz for this show anymore. I forgot it came on and only caught the episode today. I blame it on the long break and coming back with an experimental season. People checked out.
