Damn. Saw some of her older pictures and she's definitely glowed up. Got a little money now I guess.

That was interesting. LATTO killed that.and she’s right, Decatur made Atlanta :umad:

she still throwing shots at JD :mjlol:

One thing this little beef has taught me is how little of a role the actual Atlanta played in the image of Atlanta.

College Park and to a slightly lesser degree Decatur deserves damn near all the credit for making Atlanta look cool to everyone else, and Atlanta residents should be paying homage instead of cutting them off.

Truth

that broad didn’t even film the video in actual Atlanta.

Sometimes I think she was trying to be ironic, but that would give her to much credit imo.

LA seems similar, except the fukk with the "suburbs" in LA County. How many rappers are actually from the city of LA vs. a city in LA County i wonder?

Yeah, facts.

Compton, Long Beach, Inglewood, and Watts made LA look cool to everyone outside of LA

A lot of that boils down to the “suburb” kids having easier access to funds and equipment.

You think kids in Compton had more access to equipment than kids in South Central?

I doubt it.

“Boyz in the hood” made it seem like nikkas in SC was damn near scared of Compton. ( doughboy sad to Ricky “I thought you was scared of Compton” )

Compton has nice parts breh.

Used to be farmland.

I’m talking about that dynamic with all big cities and suburbs.

Same reason Long Island and Queens kids had such a large presence in early hip hop once it started being recorded.

That’s what’s funny about it. All these areas that were shouted out like Decatur, College Park, etc. why cut them off when they helped Atlanta become what it is today? That’s crazy to me.
