How do you measure the streets. You can't quantify that. You don't sell as much as DAMN did without having that buzz everywhere. TPAB sold more than GKMC during it's first week. Now GKMC probably sold more over it's lifetime due to it coming out 3 years before TPAB and having more commercially sounding songs, but TPAB was still incredibly successful and you could hear it being played everywhere. Mr Morale did have a very mixed reaction, but it still sold incredibly well and won multiple awards. That was also only two years ago. Kendrick wasn't cold, he just doesn't do interviews or features as much as he used to. The album lead to a tour that until recently was the highest grossing tour.

Stop trying to reason with folks… they live in some bubble they think is their reality… … either that or he’s under 20 and needs constant releases/interaction from entertainers… Kendrick is highly successful and has always had buzz. lol, there’s a reason everyone always mentions him amongst Drake, Cole and really future.
