at one point the Hawks had the longest playoff streak in the entire eastern conference. It was sometime from the mid 2000s till the early 2010s.
just couldn’t get over the Celtics or LeBron.
Hawks had a 60 win team & got absolutely destroyed by Bron in a 4 game sweep
I know. I'm a transplant here and while I don't care for the falcons and often laugh when they lose, I often check out hawks games and cheer for them when nothing else is on TV and they aren't playing my team (Miami Heat). And I liked their little squads over the years .
Many hawks fans here were shytting in the move when they signed Millsap and I told them to give it time and they'd end up loving him. And I was right.
Still waiting for my reps from that prediction.
I had been a Millsap fan and actually was hoping the Heat would trade Bosh for him. Mainly because he once torched us for 46 points in 2010 when he was with Utah and I loved his game. But eventually I learned to appreciate Bosh more and more.
I thought Schroeder would be a borderline star until he started showing his ass. Never really loved Jeff Teagues game but he's one of them players you just have to respect because he's effective no matter how ugly his game is.
Hawks biggest mistake was falling in love with Marvin Williams in the draft. CP3 and DWill and others were there for the taking. Horford was an excellent pick at the time too.
