Well u not far off. The avg person wouldn't know this shyt, but 680 the fan is run by dikkey broadcasting. The owner is David dikkey who is actually a pretty chill cat, but the dikkey family has been in the radio biz for years and his brother is the ceo for Cumulus which is the second largest radio operation in the country (next to Clear Channel). They basically are the home of Rush Limbaugh, Michael Savage, Sean Hannity and a bunch of other conservative racists. So your talk of agenda isn't far off. They definitely want to cater to their demo as well.

David dikkey never owned it. Andrew Saltzman and Steak owned it. Steaks rich jew pops gave them the money. They tried to expand to St. Louis because of the huge baseball market they have. They sent Chris Dimino there to help start it up. He has a huge following in STL. It aint work.

dikkey never owned 790, otherwise he wouldn't need 680, steak sold his share of 790 to pay for stations in st. louis, which means if something stupid happened he could get fired, which it did

They lost money in that St Louis radio station acquisition and needed Lincoln to come in & manage the day to day @keond fact check me if I'm off. From my take, 790 firing the Mayhem in the AM crew after the Gleason comments was as much about trimming payroll as anything else

Still don't understand why they didn't invest in a better signal/tower when they had the resources to do it

Well they sold it to Lincoln Financial because they were going bankrupt that was about 5 yrs ago. They didn't invest in a better signal tower when everyone was telling them to because they stupidly invested all of their money into STL. The Gleason comments only hastened the inevitable because 680 moved to the FM signal and was already kicking their asses

They let Oliver and Chernoff go and now they have the biggest show in the city. Say what you want but they have a damn good show.

they didn't let them go at the same time, they let chernoff go first because he wanted to jump to tv and there was a time constraint issue, then they let chuck go later when he couldn't work with anybody else, then they appeared on 680 during the midday as the stews were fading
