They could've been on equal ground. Not every lawyer is papered up, successful, or even practicing their profession for that matter. I got a couple of friends with law degrees, passed the bar, and still trying to get started.. Plus with a $100K in student loans

Dude worked for UPS and had a small business on the side and lived in the same complex as her. He also charged with a dui, driving away without paying for gas and not wearing a seatbelt while driving from years ago.

How does any of that inform her that he has the potential to shooting and killing her later on?
