The whole point of Jesus was to keep you from being executed/impoverished/completely neglected by the aristocracy. The New Testament was a direct ideological attack on the exact same plutocracy that is shooting your brothers to death in the street right now, and Neanderthals are online all day practically begging to be buttfukked by the State for another 2,000 years.
If Black people were to follow the Bible, especially the New Testament to the letter, we would all be saved from this wasteland. The white man would be exposed for the violent warmongering hypocrite he truly is and people would no longer need governance. That's what the Summer of Love was about, it would've been how life would be in that ideal situation. Then the aristocracy represented by the CIA and the military slaughtered everyone and caused mass chaos.
It's cool for a lot of these younger kids to be vehemently opposed to religion because they weren't brought up with any sense of respect for anything other than the dollar. Even their emotional connections to people are superficial, and it's made worse by the internet, where people lead completely false lives.
This last generation is just like Stupid Girl by Garbage. They don't believe in anything they can't break. fact is atheism is a european concept of belief which makes a black atheist no different from other blacks that follow muslims, christians and jews. All religions that had some way been spreaded through slavery
