i always found this story i read in a dan millman book interesting. i think it was way of the peaceful warrior

an old enlightened woman was walking along side a mountain path. she looked down and saw 3 tiger cubs walking around their mother's dead body as they starved. so she threw herself off the mountain to feed them with her own body.

chew on that.

Little did she know, the tiger cubs aren't old enough to eat meat yet.

I know SOME, maybe even alot of Blacks are atheists, but it's not most.

lol the point of the story, i think, is that however important we think our characters in this life are, we are all just meat. amaury(me) is just a big piece of meat housing my spirit. when i die, amaury stops existing since my memory exists in my brain which is physical, but my spirit never dies or goes away. the enlightened woman was in tune with her spirit instead of her brain and that allowed her to disregard her current physical state to serve the tiger cubs. she knew her spirit was not gonna die.

All you have is conjecture and speculation. You can't back any of that up.

You'd be better off to say: "I don't know" rather than I KNOW there is a god.

The burden of proof is on you to substantiate that.

but I do know that a large amount of the bible (if not all) isn't actually "real" history. Some of the major figures (David for example) didn't even exist. (According to Archeologist)

That study was disproven because none of the experimental conditions isolated for what they were looking for AND none of the results were not confirmed independently.

PLUS, even still, that doesn't describe "spirit" as much as it does the release of gas and dehydration from dead bodies.
