17 for college. Permanently at 22 when I started grad school. I'm 27 now.
Not mad at people who live at home to save money though. I had friends in my first Masters program who were 25, living with parents, working and commuting to grad school at night. Nothing wrong with that.
I'm also not gonna say I moved out at 22 and PAID everything by myself. My first year living out on my own and going to grad school, my parents paid my phone and cable. Nothing wrong with that either.
Now if you're living at home, NOT working, and just smoking weed and shyt, you need to get it together.
