The beauty of being 7 foot and able to walk in a straight lineThe Asik contract is pretty bad... Anytime you get a guy who can average 3 and 3 in 15 minutes, you go all out!!!

Ironic coming from this...no "grown folk' has Chris Bosh in their avi bruh
i just read about Jrue Holiday looking for a max deal...
a career 11 and 5 nikka, making LeBron money?
shyt, i'd want a max deal if i could get one.... but fukk, this shyt has to stop.
its all apart of the game imo, you willing to gamble that much money on a player in hopes hes legit...plus nothing wrong with young black males [usually thats who gets these contracts] getting money

so you're the type of nikka who's all for nikkas getting shyt they dont deserve, just cause their black?
you shoulda just stopped at the gambling money and hoping he's legit.
so you the type of nikka, if you were in there situation, turn down the money because there is a CHANCE you might be considered overpaid in the future?
exactly
how do you fix these contracts?
You don't, not as long as someone else is willing to offer that kind of money.
I kinds of feel bad for the majority of GM's nowadays.
All it takes is one bad offer from one idiot to fukk up the market on positions.
Plus, the salary cap is intended to level the playing field my taxing those who spend to much but also forcing teams to hit a threshold.
So what if you position your roster in a way to shed contracts in a deep free agent year, and then you offer the same max as another team does, but the player you covet picks them over you?
Now your stuck with cap space you HAVE to spend, and the market is set by others on whose left over.
It must suck to be a GM and feel the same way about a lot of the players as people on a message board do, but being stuck overpaying anyways.
