While I agree with a couple of these, I still don't think Drake is better lyrically

Heres my thing.

rapping is more than what you say.

Its HOW you say it.

Drake does it better than Kendrick.

Now you can say Kendrick is more "conscious"....but that doesn't matter

Rap battles are not about who can rap best, it's about who is more clever and witty and who lands the best shots. Period. That is what it has always been about.

Beforehand no one would have thought cool j would have any shot vs moe dee. But LL landed the shots, and as hard as moe dee rapped his heart out, he couldn't land anything that made the fans say

It's why with either nas slowed the beat down and made it more about the content and landing the blows than him being on his lyrical miracle rap circles around jay shyt. Cause if nas went that route, it wouldn't have landed, and I'm almost sure jay believed that is where nas would go, to prove he a better lyricist. The thing is, the fans already know that, in a battle it's about the hay makers.

Kendrick at this time doesn't seem to land hay makers. Drake showed in the meek battle, he knows how to land hay makers. It's a gift to know how to say that shyt that lands. Drake knows how to do that.

Drake would win.
