If you call Mike's high point his peak... it lasted for his whole lifetime damn near. I seriously would say his popularity went up with Off the Wall and it stayed in the stratosphere til maybe a decade before his death. But if you call the last part of his life a decline, it's like dropping from the edge of outer space down to the level of the clouds. Still way above everyone.
If you was raised in the 80’s like me. Michael Jackson was on a different level. He was not human. Flat out. He was everywhere. You could not escape him even if you wanted too.
