They knew they had problems before the show when they were overran. Not enough security, medics, etc is planning and if Travis organized the show he'll be held responsible.

Legally, that's hard to prove if Live Nation is in charge of the venue. That's part of WHY you get third parties to organize events. So when your shyt turns into Fyre Fest, YOU, the artist aren't held liable. However, because of the artist's refusal to stop the show or his management/production team not stopping the show there's some wiggle room for lawsuits.

Again, and I know this is in retrospect, but having the event in that kind of venue is dumb as hell in the first place. Also, if you know one of the biggest stars in rap is doing a concert you bring EXTRA security, EXTRA medical staff, EXTRA police presence. Sounds like to me they thought it was gonna be a Rockets game or some shyt. If the police chief knew there were such problems THE CITY shoulda shut it down. Just incompetence at multiple levels really.

yeh PD need to get sued too. They reported a mass casualty incident to AstroWorld Fest 40 minutes before show finished. Why did it carry on? They have the authority to begin process of ending it early

I don’t believe the BS excuse of it creating a riot if you end show. You do it slowly. You turn lights up. Travis tells the crowd there’s been casualties so we’re pausing show for 30 minutes. Everyone calms down. People get bored and tired. Travis then announces show is over due to people dying. There’s always a way to manage a crowd and yet all parties seemed to make no effort.

They shut down Playboi Carti's show a few weeks ago before it even happened because they had concerns about security. They're full of shyt. I'm not the biggest Scott fan, but he's getting railroaded. How's he responsible for bad batches of dope being passed around? When thousands of people rushed the gates, why wasn't the show cancelled then? None of this makes sense.
