Media is gunnin for his head. Just seen a CNN headline that said, "Rolling Stone Editor: The Warning Signs on Travis Scott Go Way Back". I watched the clip and it's a reach what they're saying about Scott. NY Times has a headline, "Before the Astroworld Tragedy, Travis Scott's "Raging" Made Him a Star". Daily Beast has a headline, "Travis Scott Warned by Houston Police Chief Hours Before Astroworld".

That last one stands out to me, because I'm reading people saying why he didn't stop the concert. One article stated that the police on hand said it was better to continue to proceed rather than stop because they would have had a riot on their hands. The media is trash. I'm not saying Scott shouldn't be liable because he should to an extent. But his name is gonna be real dirty by the time the media gets done with him.

Whoever set up the venue is who should be liable for damages/catastrophes. Hpd should've known they would be needed deep at any concert these days (not like they be doing shyt anyway). I also don't think that Travis scott (while performing) was able to comprehend that people were losing their lives while he was on stage. That's not easy to do when it's not uncommon for live shows to get out of control every now and then. Ambulance is not a telltale sign of that, either.

However, if he was one of the individuals that worked to incite the riot/stampede, then he is 100% liable. I saw his tweet that said "tickets sold out, but i can finesse some things" or something like that and my immediate thought after that was that he probably said somewhere that security will be lax so y'all can just storm the entrance. That's exactly what people did. Acts like that can only be coordinated Kuz i highly doubt even his fans would buck the system like that unless it was a group effort. The fact that he's deleting tweets reinforces this idea. Breh prolly be better off just paying them people and they families or risk being stuck in financial limbo for an indefinite amount of time

i think the ticket thing was him being goofy about regular occurrence in ticketing. if you go to a lot of shows, you will see sometimes if something is selling out they will extend capacity or maybe they are just holding off on selling tickets so they can capitalize on late buyers. i went to a show a few weeks ago that had sold out then magically "added" tickets on the last day, at double the price lol. the crowd was nowhere near capacity. i was damn near front row in that bytch lol

Sometimes you have certain musical acts that just incite violence and you already know what time they on and usually venues are prepared with security, EMT’s, etc..

But even before the concert began you had security officers throwing people over barricades like WWE wrestlers, kids rushing thru other barricades. It was just chaotic from the jump with no control especially being standing room only.

I think it’s a lot of blame to go around and Travis will take the brunt of it. Will be interesting if companies that sponsor him like Jordan Brand walk away.

What happened is bigger than Travis but I'm not sure if he's smart enough to see what's in play and/or he knows and he's ok with it..lets hope McDonald's come and saves him :wow:
