This whole ordeal is terrible. I think Scott could have done more to stop the show, but in all fairness that's on the crew to give him the information. LiveNation failed something terrible. From all accounts, it was too many people, not enough EMTs, not enough exit pathways and general chaos. I'm gonna be for real, having worked in media production, if a random ass girl and her friend hopped on a camera platform screaming bloody murder, I'd at least let my producer know. They were NOT gonna let that Apple stream drop for shyt.

Also, general admission concerts are ASS. People turn into animals, nothing about that venue looked fun or comfortable.

Agreed, I was saying the same as well. Now if Live Nation comes out and says Travis and/or his team was notified and proceeded to continue, that’s a WHOLE different story.

He literally can see an ambulance in front of him, people being attended to by medics and even says who wants me to stop the show? His actions are going to cost him a ton of money. It's why he's desperately scrubbing SM.

They knew they had problems before the show when they were overran. Not enough security, medics, etc is planning and if Travis organized the show he'll be held responsible.

Cornfields, cows, & an one stoplight town
Unrelated incident but go ahead and cook.
We don't have the whole story and families will settle and he will back to business in the Spring...

People will forget this pretty quickly just like the Fire Festival...trust....

:francis: how many people died at the Fyre Festival? Also there are recent tweets Travis tried to delete that are incriminating he encouraged concert goers to bumrush security. Why is he trying to scrub his Twitter?

Nah, white people kids dying isn't going to be forgotten quickly. He isn't touching a stage for a long long long time after this shyt.

No venue or organizer is going to want to face the backlash of booking him too soon with this hanging over his head.

I am not sure what the point of this post is?
Can anyone enlighten me.
Is the point we shouldn't care since blacks were in the minority ?
He made that post after the vid of the kids rushing the security... hours before reports of people dying out there came in.

Travis has been on some reckless irresponsible shyt with his fans....he keeps pushing the envelope...reap what you sow

Couldnt pay me to go to a huge festival like this, Rolling Loud, Lolla....packed in like sardines with nowhere to go if shyt goes sideways. The only fest I've done was rock the bells but that was at amphitheater in Tinley Park with mostly real seating an a small grass area
I went to a Cole concert up there and believe it or not, a fight broke out in the grass area
:skip:

I'm like who are these Cole stans and why are they fighting

he paid for the venue
Link?

Still makes him liable. Especially when one of the organizers used has countless OSHA violations

The 29-year-old rapper launched the Astroworld festival in 2018, months after the release of his third studio album of the same name. Since then the concert has occurred every year, except for 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic, at Houston's NRG Park – the former location of Six Flags AstroWorld theme park.

....

According to the Houston Chronicle, which reviewed videos and social media, people had begun to collapse by 9.39pm. Soon after, the show’s promoter agreed to stop the performance. Yet Scott appeared to complete his set, the newspaper reported. The artist finished at 10.15pm – 36 minutes after the disaster was already apparent.
