Calling them wack and not knowing who they are two different things. My pops is in his 50s I wouldn’t expect him to bump Travis Scott or know who he is outside of being part of pop culture. But my point is when the majority of the coli is my pops age we gotta open registration :beli:. A lot of y’all still living in the early 90s you can tell by how many Nas threads there are

All facts and I say this as a 29 year old Nas stan.

sounds like the venue was way too small for the 200 people but it’s crazy that even a don tolliver concert is like that. His music is more mellow

maybe it’s just a part of hip hop/rage culture that’s the new normal for concerts

or it could be just the people in that specific city

Even back in the day it would happen, I mentioned Wu, Onyx, MOP even Eminem back in the day. Rap and Rock concerts in the 80s,90s and early 00s could get wild with people pushing and thugging it out.

LAWSUIT # 1 (of several)

Your plaintiff is a trampled/crushed 35yo attendee.

There are 15 defendants (including Travis Scott himself, Scoremore, ASM Global, and 3 Live Nation subsidiaries). They are "festival organizers." It is alleged that TS used his concert behavior AND his social media accounts to "encourage a culture of violence" at his shows.

Why not just make it a class action lawsuit for the sake of efficiency?

This is nothing new for Live Nation. They are regularly sued by artists, attendees, and vendors for events hosted with insufficient safety and health (covid-19) precautions. They will sell more tickets to cool events later. Live Nation will outlive us all. Live Nation will entertain our GREATgrandchildren.

Evidence abounds.
--The footage of excited young attendees rushing thru the security gates (and piling up just beyond the metal detectors until police arrive on horseback) must never be shown in a courtroom. Nobody ejected the people who lacked tickets? Did Live Nation INTEND on hosting 50,000 ppl? Were 50,000 tickets distributed?
--The footage of Travis Scott deliberating aloud about "stop the WHAT?" before signaling for the next song makes him seem negligent. Callous. Maybe even malicious.
--same for footage of TS dismissing people who approached him on stage (presumably with notifications about the OOControl crowd)
--The images of horizontal festival attendees piled up as a crowd traps them in a swirling vortex? Damning.
--The PARKED ambulance enclosed by the crowd (while Travis Scott performs above the flashing ambulance lights without intervening) proves that somebody didn't care enough to ENFORCE safety procedures and perform crowd control.
--footage of blue/purple young concertgoers getting CPR while Travis watches, robot dances, and hums in the key of autotune ---> out-of-court settlement
--Let us not even discuss the unconscious white girl dropped on her head by cops lifting her gurney over a barricade. A jury would want to know why she was not carried out through a normal exit. Instead of hauling her over a fence, WHY NOT USE A GATE? Because 50k ppl were blocking the exit? How did THAT happen? Who condoned THAT?
--Festival organizers cannot set up immovable barricades AND claim that there was no max occupancy at this outdoor event. A finite amount of people fit between barricades and against the stage. A fire marshal could calculate max occupancy from the square footage between barricades and the stage. But Live Nations could not? Live Nation refused to do so.

pro tips:
(1) DO NOT START A CONCERT UNTIL THE HOSTS CAN CONTROL THE CROWD.
(2) DO NOT START A CONCERT UNTIL ROWDY NON-TICKETHOLDERS HAVE BEEN EJECTED.
(3) do not give concerts at venues that have exceeded max capacity

The full concert from the Apple stream is around Youtube and you can tell from 49 minutes in he sees the ambulance (which looks like just a cart going through the crowd) He pauses for a few seconds and then continues again despite the fact 2 brehs from his entourage come out to tell him something is up (and then they dive into the crowd).

At 1:01:30 he sees the one dude pass out and asks for security (but hes stupidly keeping the movement doing and saying yeah into the mic. I presume his stupid ass was thinking dont halt the vibe and alarm people....too late for that )

I seen on CNN and Local Houston news there was that one concert goer who was a nurse in training and when she was helping, a lot of the staff didnt know how to do CPR training

So this looks like its gonna fall on LiveNation first and foremost and whoever hired and ran staff. Saw other video of how the security was tossing people at the gate and looked uprofessional and now the stories of them being unable to adminster CPR correctly. Plus who drives a golf cart slowly into a packed crowd. Whoever was backstage should have told Travis to stop too. I dont know if I beleive the needle story, needs full proff. But this is the staff's fault mostly

Those were 2 fans he let on stage to stage dive. I do agree that he should of stopped there to look into it more though. Communication lacked heavy too.
