I don't see how Apple, Live Nation, NRG, Travis Scott. And possibly the city of Houston don't see a class action lawsuit from this....some of the stories I'm seeing people recount online are crazy.

Complete negligence and incompetence all around.

For what though? The organizers and the venue are the parties at fault for this. Maybe the promoter if they can show too many tickets were sold.

:comeon:
Travis was just the performer. He shouldn’t have any control over crowd control, security, or capacity. Those are the factors that someone could and will be sued for negligence for.

Travis should issue a statement of condolences and cancel all future performances unless safety for the fans can be guaranteed at the venue (within reason) and he’ll avoid the worst of the PR backlash.

The idea that Travis' people put out the needle thing is hilarious given that, ya know, if he had hired proper security no one would have snuck in with a fukking needle. I'll never understand how artists, businesses, etc will spend on the most elaborate shyt and ignore the basic things that make everything work. That set was immaculate. Beautifully designed and expensive. And yet he didn't pay for proper security, multiple watering stations, OR qualified medical staff?

Given that he didn't insure the show and will be held legally liable...it's gonna be spooky season for his finances...

I have no idea what the contract would be in terms of who holds ultimate responsibility for security but you know the other stakeholders could easily all shift blame on Travis and his team with Travis actively encouraging people to break in to the festival.

either way Travis won’t be performing for a LONG time. Read he already struggled to get the necessary insurance for his shows because of the breh he encroached to jump off a 3rd floor at a show and other safety issues. No insurance company going to cover a Travis show now

Travis is not going to be held liable at all. He's not obligated to stop his show. People pass out at shows all the time. The famous video of people passing out and ambulances everywhere at the Michael Jackson concert and you don't see Michael Jackson stop moon walking or performing.

Travis will not be held liable at all. Lawyers ain't got no case. The white venue owners will be the only ones sued and arrested.

Watch what I tell y'all

He is. The show wasn't insured, making him legally liable whether you/we agree or not. He's fukked.

The overwhelming energy blast of musty ass people and the sheer body heat used to go crazy at shows we I went to rock concerts on the regular. I can't imagine prolonged exposure to that.

this thread went from information and lighthearted

to one side of an extreme battling children who are idiots .... someone blaming "older people" :russ:

to be real, shyt fukking happens. The only people who could have controlled it are the fans. You would need the national guard to control that many people, especially people who arent trying to be controlled. Should he have stopped? yeah.... but damage is done. Those people were already fukked at that point.

the person who posted "why are people talking about a 10 year old, when there's a 5 year old" that's not justification... that's just unfortunate for children in general. I'm sure these tickets had an advisory or warning on them. It all depends on lawyers from that point on and what you have footage of to prove. A few people passing out on camera isnt gonna warrant stopping a show... but if they got videos of pandemonium and multiple casualties and disregard... then you have a case. You are fighting against the venue and superstars lawyers and maybe even a contract you signed to buy tickets.

yall were spot on with that Fentanyl shyt too though
this website can crack a fukking case by first page though
