Ghost of Yotei must’ve got a pushed up release to make them fall back and reconsider/read some literature

Sounds like they are adding micro transactions. I can see another AC Unity happening with this gameJason Schreier (@jasonschreier.bsky.social)

Ubisoft has seemingly leaked details of the first expansion for Assassin's Creed Shadows. https://bit.ly/3WgftyP
Ubisoft has seemingly leaked the first expansion for Japan-set Assassin's Creed Shadows following its announcement of another delay.
As reported by Insider Gaming, the game's Steam page was momentarily updated to include information on a 10-hour piece of downloadable content called Claws of Awaji, which will add a whole new map to the open-world game.
"Pre-purchase now to get a bonus mission and the upcoming Claws of Awaji expansion," the Steam page read. "Travel to a new region, get over 10 hours of additional content, and unlock a new weapon type, new skills, gear, and abilities."
Nah, every new game update marketing since the 2025 delay has shown Yasuke with new gameplay. I don't see him being omitted at all on the contrary. It’s interesting how the marketing has almost completely omit yasuke since the year started
Same here. Last AC I enjoyed was Black Flag. Then when Origins came out and they started leveling up and doing all that nonsense like leveling up weapons and shyt like they did in Odyssey I was all the way done. I was interested in Mirage only because they said they were going back to the "old AC". Which intrigued me, but then the game got such poor reviews I didn't bother. I was hoping for better in Shadows but then they started acting like bytches and kowtowing to these whiny internet bytches and I lost any interest whatsoever. The last I played and finished was (begrudgingly) Origins. The one before that where I enjoyed the entire experience was Black Flag.

Despite the delay of Assassin's Creed Shadows, the preview events are still going ahead for media and creators next week.
It's unclear when previews will be lifted, but I will know soon!

I played a bit of Mirage, but it was some of the most soulless shyt I ever played, even if it did masquerade as "old AC." Flawed as games like AC3 or Unity were, you at least felt the heart and passion put into them. It's why the community mostly just reminisces and discusses the old games at this point.Same here.
