Movie flopped because it sucked ass its all about execution nobody said to keep the movie outside of the animus for the majority of it.

Once I heard it took place outside of the Animus for most of the movie. I knew it'd be I still haven't seen it.

Yes.... that was frustrating it was like “what are y’all doing?”

if anything it should be a 150 min movie with like only 35-40 mins outside the Animus.

Maybe something in the move to set it up, a few scenes sprinkled throughout, then some big set piece scene after the major battle near the end at the climax to basically transition this movie to conclusions and possibly tease the sequel

I haven't given a fukk about Assassin's Creed since the first game. My total interest in the film was because of the involvement of Justin Kurzel. I think the series has potential but they need go drop that Animus/present day bullshyt and just have it fully set in the past.

That’s fair..... Origins with Bayak brought that feeling back though.... absolutely love that game and that’s all I was playing till Avengers dropped.

AC2 and 2.5 were amazing games with the storyline and I thought 3 was dope too. Black Flag fell off or maybe I just don’t like pirates like that.

But if they go away from the story, they absolutely have to have a killer ass storyline. Or then niccas like me gonna be looking at them like “why didn’t they just stick with the game stupid!”

That judgment will be extreme.

It's supposed to be a two layered past/present day story tho... a story has a beginning middle and end... if you constantly set it in the past how will you ever end it??? it's supposed to end in present day the past memories are only the events that already happened... you know this...

That's just the concept. You can tell isolated stories focusing on the assassin/templar war over the centuries. It just means writing more plot(lines) into the events of the past.
