Took multiple flights back and forth with two 1to 6 depending on the year.......my little guy would always get restless but overall he kept quiet and chilled his mini sumo ass down for the most part ......my daughter just chilled

I’m in Oki, just got braided up by a Japanese woman and currently in a “Jamaican” restaurant. The Oxtail wasn’t bad.

Depends how far out of the city you trying to live. 40 - 60 mins it’s like you’re in the US south, but a train will get you to the major city in 60 mins. Okayama is solid example.

Last year I took my 1 year old and 3 year old. They did well.

My Wife and I were the miserable ones.

Flew from Atlanta to Narita (14 hours), then Narita to Naha (3 hours). Kids are resilient. Believe in them.

I couldn’t imagine flying with complainin ass 6-12 yos though.

I work in Okinawa so they came with me for a rotation. We didn’t make it to mainland Japan. I technically work everyday while I’m out here so I can’t sneak a trip off the island.

Okinawa is still pretty dope. I’m big daughter went to school out here for the 75 days we were here. We hit the beach every weekend and travel the island to see the sites.

Family loved it. I’m trying to move out here permanently next summer. Got to figure out the visa situation. Japanese don’t want foreigners out here so it tough. Probably start a business under my Wife’s name they we can get on her visa. Got to have 5M yen in your business account to get a year long visa.

It’s worth it though.

Yea be careful of the Kru Krux Kran out there.

I’m talking more about how they look like traditional cities in the south big box stores, no rails outside of the main station.
