I used to buy drinks for patrons on me, if the food came too late when I was bartender/waiter at this ma and pop Caribbean spot. I made sure to accommodate folks for the inconvenience. Sometimes folks were ecstatic and came back, some folks were pissed and were still mad even after the acommidation. I never thought I'd have to grab a broomstick and beat people for not paying. These people really savagely beat these women after they did a bad job. Yikes...

Many of the people working at these East Asian businesses are undocumented.

If the owners had to pay legal residents actual wages, they'd all go out of business.

Bruh it’s not an either or. They can boycott the business while also supporting black businesses. Use the boycott to bring awareness to businesses that black folks should support

I don’t know if this has been said and I ain’t about to read all 9 pages but I have to say

First the chick paid for two other services she just didn’t like the eyebrows
Second idgaf what your reasoning is you don’t hit me with a stick unless I swung first or threatened you.
I thought everyone knew in these types of business, barbers, restaurants and the like if the service is trash or you don’t like your cut you don’t pay. They have done nothing to deserve your money. This is an exchange for a service and if that service isn’t good you don’t pay

And I have a personal tax business I charge for preparing your taxes but if you have to do an amendment for something I did wrong I don’t charge. And you as a consumer don’t know enough of what your are talking about to really challenge me. But I don’t expect people to pay if I don’t finish your taxes in a timely manner or whatever

I'm OK with this shyt. Gentrification is unfortunate and we can't stop it, but at least the businesses that come in better respect the original inhabitants.
