So we have a video where black people are being victimized yet a good amount of the responses in here are shytting on Black women, shytting on Blacks in NY, shytting on Black people in general.

Like can y’all let go of your cliched talking points for ONCE? The irony is with all the criticisms in this thread, there’s actual proof that black folks in that neighborhood are taking action and boycotting yet y’all are ignoring that to get your coli daps.

In all honesty, fukk boycotting. That is some of that Civil Rights shyt, were once moafukkas seem contrite enough for our asses; we will be right back up in their shops or in shops like theirs. So fukk boycotting, because that is basically some battered woman shyt and Black people keep thinking that if they do x,y or z; the other people are going to change. Those moafuggas ain't going to change, just like Ike Turner moafuggas don't change; they just keep beating the shyt out of their wives/girlfriends.

Instead of boycotting; just start visiting shops and using the services of our own people. I do it. I have a Black doctor. A Black dentist. A Black eye doctor until he retired. I was at a Black bank for over two decades, before I moved to another State. I lived in Black middle class neighborhoods. My family members went to HBCUs. On and on and on. You may have to use other people for some thing, but damn it; I look for my own people first. Oddly enough I have never been abused or mistreated in my own skin folks businesses.

"b-b-b-but black women will be there tomorrow."

Good now it’s time to boycott the Asian owned massage /fukk spots. :camby:

I’ve heard too many stories from men and women talking about the mistreatment they received :camby:

We are paying customers in your massage parlor. Show me respect!

Nasty ass Koreans. Why can’t they stay out our communities the way Japanese Do?

Business is business.... Youre an entrepreneur..... You KNOW THIS

If service is provided.... Doesnt matter how shytty you think it is.... You pay.

I be damned if I provide a service to a nikka and he decide to not pay.....

nikkas get their ass beat/get killed over unpaid debts everyday

But like I said.... They need to hold this L for even spending money outside the community in the first place
Nah business is not just business. Thats why things like business sectors and practices exist. Service is not simply doing as you choose and considering it service. By nature of the word, service isnt anything until the client deems it so. Obviously thats not exactly how it works anymore but that is how the free market service has almost always been. I retain your services to keep my lawn and you cut half my yard, you did not provide me service that we agreed upon and the standard was you will cut my lawn to an expected standard or you will not be paid. If I pay for demo services for an attached garage and come home to find that theyve knocked down the wall to my kitchen and deck, you did not provide me with a service and would be lucky to make it home in the condition you left it in.

As I said, there are service practices an business standards that exist in this world that an entire industry of area of law operates to control. If this was two white men and they went to court, I cant imagine that you think the judge or the d.a. would rule in favor of the business owner over this exchange. So yes, it actually DOES matter how shytty the service is and whether or not it actually IS service. Malfeasance in the guise of services rendered is still malfeasance.

Can't black women do nails ?

A few divas and a couple faggits, should have the best nail shops in Brooklyn

They can, but not with the hustle of Asians. They have it down to a science how to do nails. I live in NY and every nail shop, every morning at the same exact time(usually 9:30) a van full of asians will pull up and the open up shop, they get in and just work all day taking minimal breaks. They do take shortcuts on the hygiene tho.

NY takes another L if this place is still standing in 48 hours. Likely, it will take another L. Also black NY women will continue going there. So that's a double L for NY.

Has any place that mistreated black people been burned down in the 21st century? Dont blame this only on NY , if this would have happen even in ATL ...the store would still be standing.

It's Nostrand Avenue, there are people living in apartments on top of that shop.

It would still be standing and we would still be standing out front protesting.

Meanwhile Althea has a shop around the corner that is struggling, because those protesting sisters are all in Ling Ling's spot rather than at Althea's.

Ok. Well I'm sure there's some folks passionate about nails to take that slot. Hustle isn't restricted to Asians. Unethical work conditions, an unwelcome foreign environment with basic quality isn't enough to hold the crown

I don't have the numbers, I hope that people who have completely crossed the line and violated black people have been put in their place in the same or worse way.

The REAL issue is: black women keep these businesses ALIVE. Why don't they kill them? They have the power to support their sisters. "The black owned salons are less accessible and more expensive" is the reason I read on Twitter from 1 lady as an explanation. Is this true? Is the reason the prices are higher because... they have less customers and need to ask more per user and they could lower the price if the black women came to them instead?

My black people, action speaks louder than words. We can't allow this unacceptable treatment of Grandmothers, Daughters and Granddaughters to happen without taking serious action.

There's only 1 way these people feel pain and it ain't to make them feel sorry by explaining what happened and believe they'll do better. Nah. There's only 1 real way: cripple their business, show them that black dollars have value and that when we shut down the flow it puts them out of business. They need to be shut down PERMANENTLY. Obviously, we need our sisters to START shopping black and using black beauty salons. But first: end this business.

How you can achieve this:

1. Give them a 1-Star rating and bad review on Google
Simply Google 'New Red Apple Nail Inc Brooklyn 11 226' and you'll see them pop up and it'll say ?# Reviews. Click Reviews. Click Write a Review.
Give them 1 Star and explain why.

2. Give them a 1-Star rating or click that you don't recommend this business on Facebook and leave a post
Their business' Facebook page: New Red Apple Nail - Brooklyn, New York - Nail salon, Massage service | Facebook

3. If you're in Brooklyn, follow our sister Jasmin Johnson's lead and help SHUT THEIR BUSINESS DOWN EVERY SINGLE DAY until they go out of business

Shut 'em down.
