stop talking shyt, my asian breh has a marijuana dispensary shop in korea town and the buildings owned by a wealthy cac. in fact, his whole building is korean businesses including a korean mini-mall next door.

i mean, i dont even know the argument you're making anymore. by your logic, whites dont have businesses cus they get their products from china :what:

I'm talking about the real Chinatown, not the LA poormans version.

And yes, Cacs are dumb for moving the means of production to China but property ownership and being a majority lessens the blow.

If you don't see how culture correlates to changes in the mindset of a community then you don't need to be discussing this.

Culture i just shared beliefs, values and customs in a group. Are you saying current AA culture is one that is integration? Its not my fault you chose not to go in detail. If so its futile since "black" culture is not monolithic in the USA. You also didn't answer how whites are stopping blacks from segregating.

Not to be a troll (okay, trolling a little)...

Schwarzenegger, Stallone and Willis got together to create Planet Hollywood.
MJ, Tiger Woods and Mayweather can't start a real estate company or some shyt?

:mjpls:

Nah, I'm just fukking around.

But on a serious level, the argument that integration means little unless black people are able to force themselves into a position where they control the means of production...I mean that SEEMS like it makes sense. And that's probably what people argued in the 60s.

So yeah, you can walk in and get the grand slam breakfast on Sunday morning at Denny's....but the money is ultimately going to someone with no interest in preserving your community or interests.

I mean this sounds like it would apply to any group of people though. Not just black people.

But this is very high level. I'd love for someone to explain where the flaw in this logic lies. Because I'm sure one exists.

like i said, i dont even know the argument you're making anymore. by your logic no one truly owns a small businesses, unless they own the land and manufacturer 100% of the product themselves

Yes to the red and the blue is incorrect.

At least own the land, assuming products not services are the draw.

The blue is correct. "Black culture" in the South is different from black culture in the North, while both those cultures are different from those in the Midwest and West. Blacks in the North/West seem to be more integrated while those in the South seem to be less and know how to practice a form of group economics.

I was born in Detroit, live in Atlanta and schooled in NYC. The culture isn't any different, just the density of Black people and cost of living.

I was born and raised in NY and my family have roots in the South. I've been to NC, Georgia, Florida and Virginia. Yes the culture is different. People up north don't practice things like family reunion. And when I go down south I see more black owned business compared to those in the North; unless its foreign black owned e.g Haitian, Jamaican, African.

The North is more integrated.
