The Sharpstown areaWe have a huge Asiatown in Southwest Houston and you know who populates the businesses around that area; blacks and Mexicans. The only Asian apartments are run down and populated by 1st generation immigrants. Do you really think the president of one of the Asian banks in the area is going to live there?Asians chase after whites as well but they get favor because white people are obsessed with them.

Really it's important to remember asians were exploited heavily and treated as second class citizens as well. Sticking together in a tight knit community is a great strategy for helping to get each other off the ground and running. What you do from there is your own choice. Not dividing into too many small subgroups and focusing on education (asians focus on education) gives a community much more power
