Plus despite being from uptown they were downtown kids.


The image is what gave them traction; the music was good but the image was better.


Hence the trajectory of his career.



His mixtape is classic; but ferg had the better LP.

Their crew tapes were great and their entire movement was great, but it had a short shelf life

Ferg was definitely the best rapper out of ASAP, not necessarily the best beast coast rapper tho (probably would be either one of the underachievers or meechy darko)
