He better hope he doesn't get found guilty because he's going to be locked up for 10 years minimum.

Nah, I agree. To me though it's just a factor of weighing risk.
Spend 6 months in jail ,3 months on probation and have to pay Relli probably close to a million dollar settlement or possibly spend 24 years (10-12 years most likely) locked up in prison away from your family.
I know you mentioned that you believe it was a prop gun, but I personally don't believe that. But the burn of proof is on the state and I don't believe police found shell casings at the crime scene and there was no footage of a gun actually being shot, just the sound of loud pops.
Either way, I'm glued to this case.
