Not to my knowledge. Feige said he wants to really highlight the personality of spidey...of which Tobey had none:smugbond:
Yet he looks like a young Tobey

:whoknows: most white guys with dark hair look alike breh..no offense to the white guys here with dark hair.
Either way, Feige has said several times now that the one thing they want to emphasize is the high school aspect and those stories along with the personality and comedian nature...Tobey couldn't land a joke to save his life in those movies. Andrew got close so hopefully the next guy can do the same
Yet he looks like a young Tobey
Why not Garfield
Go ask Kevin and Amy breh, I really don't know..or give a damn. Just let him be funny and be a good actor. The direction and writing is going to be the more important aspect anyway
I'm asking you and you're ducking the question of why he looks like a young Tobey as opposed to a Garfield or just someone else
I've just never seen him be funny lol...that's my thing. I've never seen him be snarky in anything. He can act his ass off but I've never seen him be anything other than dour but I also know that doesn't mean he can't pull it off; that's what screen tests are for. I'd prefer one of the other cats but Sony/Marvel seem to have a hard on for him so :whoknows:
Not exactly sure how much control Marvel has over Spidey now but everything (pressure) seems to be on them. When thr dust settles this is the Marvel Spidey outing fans have been begging for. Plus mickie mouse and sony most def want the possible harry potter fame and money that could come with hitting the sweet spot of appealing to kids, casuals and comic fans alike by nailing this incarnation one of the most recognizable comic characters not wearing a cape.
The kid with glasses looks like a nerdy Parker to me.
Can't really talk about his acting though, never saw Ender's Game, he was alright in Hugo and the less said about the atrocity known as The Boy In The Striped Payamas, the better.
hawkeye & war machineNo origin story is confirmed. BEST decision that they've made her regarding the new take on the character.
NO actor that Marvel has chosen has so far been miscast so if they think Asa is their guy then Im inclined to believe he'll be the definitive Spider-Man
No they don't lol#InMarvelWeTrust
They know what there doing
Did you see the new one with him and Ethan Hawke? I forget the name of it, I think it dropped in January but I've never heard it talked about much
No they don't lol
