Unfortunately Western Powers support Saudi Arabia as an Allie so in reality Islamists are Allie. The same powers fighting these groups in these countries are the same ones supporting them.

im fully aware of what a cesspool saudi arabia is, and i think bombing them is a good idea, but like i said first things first

Bombing them isn't good b/c you have those people who have nothing to do with the Wahabbi Sect Brutal Regime and that is the population. The U.S. wouldn't allow anything to happen to Saudi.

STOP grouping the whole continent based on a handful of basket cases (mali, somalia, northern nigeria, sudan, libya)

African countries who don't want to end up like Mali and co. should not be so welcoming of extremist elements. Islamists can only take refuge in countries that practice Islam. So best thing for Africans to do is reject the religion of Islam.

I find your view condescending about certain countries when you didn't mention the biggest problem in Africa.....the DRC. :pacspit:

Look how this sounds here. The French and the U.S. want to fight Al-Q in Mali but set up Al-Q in Libya and in Syria.

Noticed in AU....no talks about the 6 Million dead in the Congo but Mali is up for talks. Got to love hypocrites.

The article says

Diplomats said leaders were also expected to discuss recent unrest in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, where M23 rebels took over the key town of Goma before pulling out.

They have since agreed to negotiations with the Congolese government, but the talks have been dragging.

What the AU should be embarrassed about is that a European power is doing in one week what the AU could have and should have done last year
