This whole saga shows you can't invest too heavily in third parties without a contingency plan. I don't think Microsoft will remove COD because it generates too much money and it will be similar to Minecraft. However, I fully see Xbox leveraging the Xbox advantage by giving out battlepass perks to gamepass subscribers, skins, and other extras.

COD on gamepass will absolutely positively lower the quality of the franchise.
MS wants to spread COD out even thinner than it is now. It’s already a yearly release.. now it will be a yearly release and also be on SWITCH.
A weak ass console with 2005 graphics will now be a platform devs will have to target. Innovation, ground breaking tech and visual fidelity? fukk that.. let’s let 8 year olds be able to play.
