As Ratings continue to fall, do you think USA will ever deavor the E?

USA survived just fine without the WWE when they moved to SpikeTV. Y'all are forgetting USA is backed by NBC/Universal. If USA is really in the shyts, NBC can easily throw stuff like The Office, Parks & Rec, Community and other shows that aren't heavily in syndication. They could also start putting newer movies on USA too.

Nah. They might try to lowball them when they renew the rights though.:manny:

That's gonna be the biggest challenge for them. They are gonna get an offer no doubt, but how good that offer may be is an interesting question. They already got a lower number than what they were expecting last time :patrice:

They didn't push WWE to add a third hour to Raw & to go live for SD to then push them off the network. I say ESPN & FS1 comes with better offers next time actually

ESPN won't try to get WWE because their fanbase wouldn't want it. Even the WWE interviews on SportsCenter and First Take pissed people off.

FS1 would only be an option because they're so desperate for content, but they shyt on WWE all the time, so that's unlikely too.

Y'all sleeping on Mr. Robot's viewership and critical acclaim. That show is probably the biggest non-wrestling show on USA. It's gotten 1+ million viewers for each episode & Emmy wins. USA could survive without the WWE as long as Sam Esmail is feeding them.

:mjlol:1 show, coming off a disappointing 2nd season... i wouldnt be suprised if 3rd season hits low ratings

Yall keep saying USA don't have anything to replace it with like they did in 2000. They lowballed WWE in the peak of the Attitude Era, and Viacom/Spike gave them a better offer, so who's to say they won't do it now that they're approaching 1995 level ratings?

Also the Mr. Robot slander in here needs to chill, that's my show :to:.

When one of their many live sports properties ain't on, ESPN ratings are hurting. That's why there's the SVP 11pm sports center and SC6 who basically make their segments all social media friendly. I think espn sending a crew to Mania and summerslam, and doing the weekly interview is a precursor to WWE possibly joining. Just like WWE has had to redefine what it is over the years, ESPN to do the same. FS1 gave Skip Bayless a $25 M deal only for him to get 0.0 ratings in some markets. They're desperate

Spike gave WWE all of the ad revenue. Can't top that

Season 2 aired in the middle of the week in the middle of the summer last year and had a 94% on RottenTomatoes. Disappointing, huh :dahell:

Season 3 is airing in the fall this year, so the viewership will be better & the quality should be just as good. But keep hating on a show that you don't watch, breh

USA will never get rid of WWE programming. Excluding the five years the WWE was on TNN/Spike, the WWE and USA have had a relationship for almost thirty years.

I can see USA giving the WWE a lower offer when it's time to renew their contracts.

What does USA even show besides SVU and Modern Family reruns?! :heh:

Imagine if Sam Esmail was running the E :wow:

Sami Zayn would probably be champion, but probably an even bigger dork:russ:
