And this is why i dont take too many Biggie stans seriously.

Biggie couldn't make a Teflon Don just like Ross can't make a Ready to Die. Cultural differences influenced the sounds and lyrics of both these albums. Stop treating Biggie like he was some kind of super hero because he wasn't, He had flaws just like any other rapper he just wasn't around long enough to have them all exposed.

Mafia Music 2, Amsterdam, Ashamed, and Ten Jesus Pieces are just a few examples of not only Ross' great ear for beats, but also his ability as a lyricist. Y'all not listening with an objective ear

:why: he can raP but lyrical he's not even on yes level

And im pretty sure its safe to say that Biggie was heavily influenced by Kool G Rap yet he never gets the praise that Biggie does. Its nostalgia, Biggie benefits heavily from that because there are numerous rappers who are not only better but also contributed more to this culture than Biggie ever did.

Yeah man, the whole train robbery on RTD and storytelling skills in general showed he was influenced by KGR and Slick Rick.

and I got heavy praise for Kool G, shyt he fathered alot of classic hip hop shyt.

not sure what you mean about better tho, that shyts way too subjective, difficult for me to discuss what are bascally tastes in music using that vocabulary.

You not gonna spin this. Im in no way knocking Ye's music(which is what u want me to do so u can go into spin drive)

You dont have to be a "super lyricist" to be better than Kanye lyrically. Kanye ain't even really a lyricist, dude barely writes his own rhymes

:laff:

Yeezy ain't gotta song as lyrical as this shyt Fat Trel "stanning" over :obama:
Fat Trel rapping over Rick Ross (Rozay) track (In Studio Performance) - YouTube

Mafia Music II >>>>> Ye best song.

Kanye is underrated lyrically. "Mafia Music II" is Ross's best lyrical performance, or at least one of them, but it's not better than Kanye on:

Never Let Me Down
Spaceships
Crack Music
Can't Tell Me Nothin'
Heard Em Say

As for as the Kanye/Ross collabos, those are about even except Ross gets the edge on "Devil In A Blue Dress". Still, Ross is not on Kanye's level lyrically.

neither is ross... ross is known for his bangers not for spitting crazy dope lyrics... kanye = above average lyricist, ross = average

post a track from ross lyrically better than this from kanyes latest album...

*waits for the obvious mafia music 1/mafia music 2 post which doesnt even match up to that track*
