The fact that his life was cut short, before he was able to show the diversity and growth that Ross has. How he didn't leave us with nearly as much material as Ross has provided us with. Of course none of this is his fault, but at the end of the day, Biggie can't compare to a lot of rappers because you are basing it on 2 albums. I would never say 2 Biggie albums are better than Ross entire body of work so how could I put Biggie over him?:yeshrug:

Diversity?

Yeah, Biggie dont have as much material as Ross but that also means Ross should be able to to show of more diversity as an artist/MC then Biggie?
In my opinon even with a limited catalogue, Biggie still shows more diversity.

I could accept if you said Ross shows abllity to be consistant or something, since he droped alot of what you consider good music.

But to say Ross is more divers then Biggie?

Quantity (even with quality) =/= Diversity

Something's not right about the Capitol dude.

I mean, I know dudes regularly jock rappers on here, sometimes to an embarrassing level, but this guy's got an agenda.

It's not too far fetched to think record companies, etc., contract reasonably well spoken and site savvy herbs to sit around and troll the boards in favor of their artist, is it?

The fact that I can recite whole verses of Bigs off memory makes him greater. He was just a better writer period. I have a hard time remembering anything outside of the hooks when it comes to Ross.

Fraud Ross is just not that kind of a rapper, he's not even a emcee. If we gave nikkas points for charisma over skills then P-Diddy >> Ross /Take that

Ross is to BIG what Statik Selektah is to DJ Premier.

now before you jump out the window and try to clown Statik, just know that he's dropped waaaaay more albums that are playable straight through than Ross has.

like, literally Statik simply has more bodies of work available.

I don't know about that. It's nearly unanimous tha Statik is simply an imitation DJ premier, but no one thinks that Ross is a Biggie knockoff or something. Whenever you make the comparison people say they have nothing in common

Ignore that lame nikka. He likes to pretend like he knows Ross' discography, he's even lied about purchasing his albums. He's a masquerading troll who doesn't listen to Ross but wants to act like he can offer a credible opinion about his music.

He thinks he's invisible :pachaha:
