As far as GOAT film director goes, Francis Ford Coppola is it!

That's right, Schaffner did direct Patton, Coppola wrote the screenplay for it along Edmund H. North.

The Conversation is not good BUT it's a really great movie. It's a classic movie that continued to show just how brilliant Coppola was in the 70's after he had already directed the first Godfather. Heck, Coppola wrote, directed AND produced The Conversation.

Oh wow, I made one mistake with saying Coppola directed Patton yet every other movie that I've mentioned he has directed, he has.

And yes, I'm calling Coppola the GOAT because all of those films (even Patton because writing the screenplay still counts) are truly the most innovative films of all time. Everything about them is classic.

Tarantino has never ever even directed a movie half as great as The Godfather.

All of QT's films are always the same movie with him just trying to replicate Blaxploitation movies over and over again. And the thing is, his movies get all these accolades and awards when really all QT does is copy and paste from Blaxploitation movies of the past; whether it's an action flick (Reservoir Dogs & Pulp Fiction) Spaghetti Western flick (Django Unchained), or Kung Fu flick (Bill 1 and 2) all of his movies are the same Blaxploitation movie over and over again just with different surroundings; both time and place.

Idk about putting pulp fiction above godfather part 2 that's a tough sell. Pulp Fiction isn't better than Goodfellas imo but hardley any movie is better than godfather 1,2 and Goodfellas. Pulp is still my favorite QT flick, Resivour Dogs a close second. But it ain't on godfather level.

Being older has nothing to do with it..godfather 2 is the better movie overall regardless of its age. Part 1 is better than all of em though.

Pulp Fiction doesn't even compare to The Godfather 2 or Apocalypse Now in any way, shape or form. It's not even close, no way, no how.
