Yes nikka Drake and Future are rappers that occasionally try to harmonize and sing in their raps but are horrible thus they subsidize it with Autotune. What dont you understand about that shyt? Whether you agree or not anyone with two ears and an unbiased mind can make the connection. Now who in today's rap is imitating wu tang clan flow and music wise?

They harmonize and sing in their raps but they aren't rapping fast. Stop trying to make it seem like they are using Bone's style just because they are singing on some of their records.

Being on this hip hop shyt is funny. like meek said, nikkas get online and just say dumb shyt without knowing wtf they talkin about. Bone never had songs where they sang without "double time"? so if i go get an example will you both shut the fukk up? ill wait for the backtracking.

Dude, Wu came before every last artist you just mentioned. Every one. Wu had affiliates dropping records before Mo Thugs. That tight knit, almost mafioso aspect of hip hop collectives nowadays, come from Wu. And no, just because Drake, Ludicrous, or any other rapper decides to rap fast here and there does not mean they are "emulating" Bone. Dudes were rapping fast, with multi-syllabic words before Bone. Yea, they brought the "harmonizing" into play but I don't see that being done too often with the artists you mentioned. And if you don't hear Wu's influence in Joey Badass, Action Bronson, Roc Marciano, Jay Electronica, and many other artists than you're lying to yourself. And respect wise, the newer generation of hip hop artists have openly embraced and payed homage to Wu, as they are supposed to. Bone aren't even in Wu-tangs class in terms of legendary status. It's just the truth.

Wu as a group did not come before Master P...and the first Mo Thug affiliate Project dropped in 96' but they were on East 99 which came out '95.. The tight knit Mafioso style comes from No Limit and J Prince, not Wu Tang. And you gotta be one stupid nikka not to acknowledge all of the artists today that are trying to harmonize in their raps. Drake, Weezy, Kanye, Future, Nicki, Hell even Jay Z all at some point instituted harmonizing in their raps after Bone made it popular. And Joey Badass, Action Bronson, Roc Marciano, Jay Electronica aint buzzing on a national scale and arent relevent..

First..Wu and Master P formed their collective's around the same time, but Wu BLEW, WAYYYYYY before No Limit did.

Second... ALL THE ARTISTS YOU MENTIONED, have name dropped Wu in homage or have done a track with Wu RECENTLY. Bone has very little relevancy in contemporary hip hop. It's just the truth.

Third...Bone weren't the first rappers singing on rap tracks. Dudes like Slick Rick and Biz Markie was singing on tracks way before any of them Bone cats decided to pick up a mic. Stop with the propaganda.

Wu only blew first by proxy of them being in New York.. but the point is that the mafioso style of running a label wasnt new with Wu..

And all of the artists ive named have paid homage to bone as well through interviews, lyrics, or interviews...

Slick Rick and Biz Markie are horrible examples LMAO! them nikkas tried to harmonize maybe on 1 or 2 songs throughout their careers. Bone MADE a career out of it

Im done on this post though, ive already proven that Bone's style still influences MAJOR artists today with the singing, harmonizing, double flow, multi's etc.. Wu aint influencing no one today on a national scale

Breh, why you so mad? :heh:

Bone style is rapping, melodically. Harmonizing. That's their style. You and that cac dude mentioned singing slowly in their raps. So what. That's not something that originated with Bone. Rappers were singing in their raps long before Bone. Most notably Slick Rick. Post a Bone song, where they are singing slowly, that came before The Great Adventures of Slick and I'll shut the fukk up.
