Actually, that's the impression I'm getting from the OP. This clown is like hey "look at me, I'm a proud black unlike these other Dominicans". Which is funny because his black ass would be called out and ridiculed if he claimed to be anything other than black on the island. There are people lighter than him in DR that identify as negros and celebrate the Afro elements of our culture. Check out this palo-fusion band for example, these dudes are obviously not 100% black but they fully embrace the Afro culture.

yes i am Dominican, most of y'all probably thought i am African American but no actually i am what some people might consider Afro-Dominican. i was raised to embrace both my Dominican and African culture bruhs. i just consider myself a Black male who has some Spanish and a little piece of Taino blood. most of Afro-Dominicans come from the Bakongo people, Mandinka people and Igbo people from Calabar in Nigeria. i just hope y'all realize that not all of us are c00ns and ignorant, that some of us like myself acknowledge our African roots.
