Sorry OP but your alone. The vast majority of black Dominicans don't want to be black. In fact you can't even really find black Dominicans saying their black. It's just what it is. Don't let these cacs fool you into thinking were talking about non black Dominicans either. We are expressly talking about obvious black people who claim that since they speak Spanish they no black papi. The Dominicans on this site arenf black BTW.

Keeping my overhead low, and my understand high
yes i am Dominican, most of y'all probably thought i am African American but no actually i am what some people might consider Afro-Dominican. i was raised to embrace both my Dominican and African culture bruhs. i just consider myself a Black male who has some Spanish and a little piece of Taino blood. most of Afro-Dominicans come from the Bakongo people, Mandinka people and Igbo people from Calabar in Nigeria. i just hope y'all realize that not all of us are c00ns and ignorant, that some of us like myself acknowledge our African roots.

:blessed: blessed to have this Melanin and African blood

I 1-starred this thread because you shouldn't feel the need to state the obvious.

Don't let the bullshyt muhfukkers say online make you feel like you have to explain who you are or defend your heritage.
